One God in Three Persons |
Solemnity of the Holy Trinity Prayer
Father, You sent Your Word to
bring us truth
and your Spirit to make us holy.
Through them, we come to know the mystery of Your life.
Help us to worship You, one God in three Persons,
by proclaiming and living our faith in You.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
Bible and
Liturgy:
Divine Revelation teaches us about the Father, Son, and the Holy
Spirit.
These three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit -- all of them are
God.
"One God in three Persons" is also called the "Blessed Trinity."
We cannot fully understand this mystery in God.
Let us come to this mystery
with Faith and profound adoration.
Read: Acts 17, 16-34; Matt. 3, 13-17;
2 Cor. 13, 1-13; 1 Pet. 1, 1-12; Jude 20-24.
From the Parish Mass Book and Hymnal
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Blessed be the Holy Trinity and Undivided Unity:
We will give glory to Him,because He has shown
His mercy to us.
