The words of Our
Lady in 1917 are more understandable
and intensely more appropriate and applicable TODAY!
Let her words
penetrate our minds and hearts:
"Are you willing
to offer yourselves to God and bear all the sufferings
He wills to send
you,
as an act of reparation for the sins by which
He is offended, and in
supplication for the
conversion of sinners?"
"Then you are
going to have much to suffer,
but the grace of God will be your
comfort."
(After an intense light from the hands of Our Lady penetrated their
hearts, the
children were moved by an interior impulse to kneel and repeat in their
hearts:)
"O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee!
My God, my God, I love Thee
in the Most Blessed Sacrament!"
"Pray the Rosary
every day, in order to obtain peace for the world,
and the end of the
war."
"Sacrifice yourselves for sinners,
and say many times,
especially whenever you make some sacrifice:
"O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee,
for the conversion of sinners, and
in reparation for the sins committed
against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
"When you pray
the Rosary, say after each mystery:
"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins,
save us from the fire of hell.
Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need."
"Do not offend
the Lord, our God, anymore
because He is already so much offended."
By the way, the following two prayers were given by the Angel of Peace
to the
children in the year 1916---
to prepare them for the visit of Our Lady of
Fatima.
"My God, I believe,
I adore, I hope and I love Thee!"
I ask pardon of Thee for those who do not believe,
do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee!"
The Angel held
up a Chalice with a host above it:
"Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and
Holy Spirit,
I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee the most
precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all the tabernacles throughout the world,
in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and
indifference by which He is offended.
By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg the conversion of poor sinners."
